Can I Give My Ticket to Someone Else?

Yes — at Got2Go, we believe your ticket is yours to use, gift, or sell as you choose. Once your ticket is delivered, you're free to transfer it to a friend, family member, or even resell it (as long as the platform it was issued on allows it).

Got2Go's flexible approach to ticket ownership

We work with a wide range of sellers — including trusted brokers, private sellers, and channel partners — and we don’t place restrictions on what you can do with your ticket after it’s been delivered. That means:

  • You can give your ticket to someone else

  • You can resell your ticket through any supported platform

  • You only need to tell us who's using the ticket when the event requires it.

The only thing to keep in mind is that each ticketing platform has its own transfer rules, which you'll need to follow.

How to send or transfer tickets on Ticketmaster

If your ticket was delivered through Ticketmaster, you’ll need to complete a transfer using their system. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Ticketmaster account.

  2. Go to "My Tickets" and select the event and appropriate ticket(s).

  3. Choose "Transfer Tickets".

  4. Enter the recipient’s name and email address.

  5. Confirm the transfer — your recipient will receive an email to accept.

They’ll then need to log into their own Ticketmaster account to view or use the ticket.

Note: You must first accept the ticket into your Ticketmaster account before you can transfer it to someone else.

What about other ticket platforms?

Some platforms like AXS, Flash Seats, or venue-specific apps may have their own process. Most of them allow for mobile ticket transfers, and we recommend checking with the platform directly for the latest steps.

If you’re unsure which platform your ticket was issued on, you can find delivery details in your Got2Go dashboard or confirmation email.

Anything I should watch out for?

  • Always make sure the ticket has been accepted before trying to send it onward.

  • Transfers are only possible if the original platform supports it.

  • If your event has age restrictions, ID checks, or venue-specific rules, double-check to make sure your guest will be able to enter.

  • Ticket transfers can take time. Allow for at least 24 hours to complete each ticket transfer.
