Frequently Asked Questions
Who can buy and sell tickets on Got2Go?
Most people 18 or older. Whether you're buying or selling, you must be of legal age and capable of entering into a binding contract. See our complete terms of service here.
How does ticket pricing work?
Sellers set their own prices. These can increase or decrease based on demand or promotions. Once you’ve purchased a ticket, that price is final—even if it changes afterward.
Are there any extra fees?
Yes. Service and processing fees are included in the ticket price you see at checkout. Go+ members may get discounted pricing.
When will I get my ticket?
Tickets are typically delivered within 24 business hours after purchase, as long as you’ve completed any required steps (like verifying your email or accepting the transfer). If your event is coming up soon, sellers are required to send your ticket as quickly as possible.
Tip: Check your email and your account on third-party platforms like Ticketmaster for delivery updates.
What happens if my event is canceled?
You’ll receive a full refund for your tickets and any unused or undelivered add-ons (like Packages or Upsells). Refunds are processed automatically—no action needed on your part.
What if the event is rescheduled?
Your original ticket is still valid for the new date, unless told otherwise. If you can’t attend, the seller may offer a refund, but you'll need to contact them within the timeframe they provide.
Can I get a refund for packages or upsells?
It depends. If your add-on hasn't been used or delivered yet, you may be eligible for a refund. If it's already been fulfilled (for example, merchandise already shipped), then that portion of your purchase may not be refundable. Always check the specific refund policy before purchasing.
What’s your refund policy overall?
-
If the event is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
-
If the event is rescheduled, your ticket stays valid or a refund may be offered if you notify the seller in time.
-
If part of a package or upsell is undelivered, you’ll receive a partial refund for the unused portion.
-
No-shows, lost, or damaged tickets are not eligible for a refund unless the seat can be verified and replaced.
- See our satisfaction guarantee here.
How are refunds processed?
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. If you paid with a Got2Go gift card, we’ll send a new gift card for the refunded amount.
My ticket never arrived. What should I do?
First, check your email and the platform handling the ticket (such as Ticketmaster). If everything looks right and you still haven’t received your ticket, contact that platform’s support. If needed, Got2Go Support can help guide you through the next steps.
What are my responsibilities as a seller?
-
Only list tickets you own and can deliver.
-
Keep your listings up to date and remove them if sold elsewhere.
-
Deliver tickets within 24 hours of the sale.
-
Don’t cancel confirmed sales to relist tickets at a higher price.
Failure to meet these standards could result in penalties or account suspension.
What happens if I violate the platform rules?
Got2Go may suspend your account, withhold payments, or cancel listings if there’s a violation of our terms—especially in cases of fraud, pricing manipulation, or non-delivery.
